Actually, you don't have to pay anything to copyright something. If it's a relevant, essential and original part of a published work, it's automatically copyrighted. But I doubt that those names fit this category, and I doubt even more that :v: or interpoo would care about it...

I find the names quite realistic and quite believable though. Wonder where Volition Inc got those ideas.....

IIRC what someone said a long time ago at the VBB, the manufacturer's names in the Colossus cutscene were mostly just names of the guys at [V]

The names of the companies in the Colossus cutscene went by too fast that I could not see all of them. How did you guys spot them???

By going into the VP files etc on the FS2 disc or directory.

Actually I think Shaar Fleet Systems is just Shar corp, I was listing some from the top of my head.

KresCo is a Terran company though...
