I just dropped in to thankyou to all of you guys/girls working on this.
A friend showed me this game which turned out to be THAT game I was looking for and I was surprised at the GFX being so detailed for a 90's game then did more research on it on Google.
Came across this place, followed the instructions on how to install it, got it working on the first try and let me tell you. This is like playing a whole new game, in a good way.
Anyway, just wanted to drop in and thank you guys.

Good to have you on board, Joe. There's a lot to check out.

May I suggest trying out:

some of our best Freespace 2 campaigns - Derelict, Transcend, Blue Planet, Silent Threat: Reborn, Windmills, Sync, Homesick, and many others (more or less in that order)

And a few of the total conversions: The Babylon Project and the demos for Wing Commander Saga and Beyond the Red Line.

Most likely will after I have more fun with this, haven't tried multiplayer yet. Any news if it's working good?

If you want to play MP, just join the Hard Light IRC channel and ask. Or join us for the scheduled games on Wednesdays and Saturdays (Both 2000 GMT, IIRC). Or make a post in the Multiplayer board.
