I also have a reskinned Nepythysys (that looks better than the SS Cosmic on FSMods).

i think it would be kinda fun to fight a battle with attrition, prevent the enemy from reloading their guns and you can guickly turn a loosing battle into a turkey shoot.

So, enemies really can't use support ships? Or did you just mean they can't summon them like friendly wingmen/players can?

That makes me think... it would be neat if you could have support ships in TvT multi games...

Makes me wonder if we should code an SCP-only feature for the enemy being able to call in a support ship, and whichever ship calls in support will use its race (Terran, Vasudan, Shivan) to determine what kind of ship can be called in.

Well when your side calls in a support ship, it is already the race of the ship that called it.

Out of curiosity, what happens if a race has more than one support ship flagged for it in the TBLs? (like, Centaur and Hygeia)

The first one listed comes in.
To make the second one appear, you need to use SEXP in the mission to set support ship.
