Classy Freespace box art

Based on these four threads I have created 'classy' box covers for potential re-releases of Freespace and FS2. Feel free to contribute your own.

Love the first one - it grabs me more than the second though.

The first one looks like a classic science fiction paperback cover. The second looks like it is called Volition Inc.

What program(s) did you use?

Since I do this for a living I "have" to participate. :D I'll come up with something a little later.

BTW, I like the first one better nice use of color and white space on both.

I used GIMP and ModelView, pilfered the screenshot in the second from the Celebration Of Freespace thread, and used my custom Freespace fonts for the GTA/GTVA logos.

Both are very cool. :nod: I think I prefer the "no-frills" style of the first one slightly more, it just has that iconic FS look what with the Lucifer and the Arcadia being in it.
