Re: End of Michael Jackson,
I know MJ was like the most famous person in the world that everyone mostly liked.  So it's fine that there's been wall to wall coverage of his passing.  But it's gods damned morbid as hell to even consider airing the 911 call, much less actually doing it.  That one event changed the coverage from slightly self-serving to tasteless "I don't give a **** about anything!" sensationalist bull****.  I don't care to see any more coverage since they said they were going to air it.

I fully agree with you on that subject. Personally I don't think 911 tapes should be released simply for the gratification of the masses. If there is a legitimate reason, fine, but in general I find the idea of broadcasting the calls of people in severe trauma rather distasteful. They have a reasonable expectation that it won't go any further and it actually hurts the public trust when it's shown that it will if the media want to listen in to it.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Re: End of Michael Jackson,
Is Jackson's death that surprising and shocking?

With the amount of cocaine he was doing, I'm more surprised this didn't happen sooner.

Anyway, beyond the child molestation and other freaky ****, he did some good tunes. He was never going to do any more, but still, he was famous for a reason. Talent certainly was there.

Now they're trying to get the will publicly released.
Gettin' back to dodgin' lasers.

What The ****!?!??

Buncha vultures.  Give the family some peace!
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.
