DDS Malarky under PSP

Does anyone know how to make Paint Shop Pro 9 open DDSes under Windows 7? I tried following the instructions NVidia gives, but they point to DLLs that no longer exist. I DLed a bunch of DLLs as reccomended by various places around the net, but got no joy. So, anyone succeeded where I failed? Anyone who got it to work under Vista'd be cool too, as they're very similar OSes.
