Something I made the other day.
I'm thinking about making three versions. Carrier, Destroyer and Battleship. Kinda like what they've done in Reciprocity(sp?).
The Hull will have to have minor changes made, of course, but here's the basic design.

Looks like it'd be best as a Carrier
nice design :)
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

Yeah, looks like a carrier.  Reminds me of the Homeworld mothership.

HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS, now V3.0. Bringing Modders Together since January 2001.
THE HARD LIGHT ARRAY. Always makes you say wow.

Looks very good. And I think a Carrier would be the best choice here.:D

Thought the same thing... the front of the model, specially.

And Ryx, how come you don't know the Warhammer?!? :D

My MT knowledge is rusty. When Setekh commented on the similarity between the two, I searched the forums for more info. Didn't really find any.

Don't suppose you have a clearer pic?

Without the top bumps it could easily be the deck to a modern aircraft carrier. It should definitely be a carrier!

Asking this question for Hanger Man: Will it have hangers that you can fly into? :D

Nice model.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

It wouldn't be too hard to throw something like this together with some PHP, an Apache webserver and PostgreSQL on the backend. I think this is an excellent idea.

Give me a server with Tomcat and any database, and you have that in five minutes. ;)

The fact that Segomo and Rosmerta were described as sister-classes, for me (somehow), translated into the same basic hull design with variations for their respective role.

Perhaps I'm wrong? :o

Which one is Tomcat? I have to admit, when it comes to non-IIS web serving, I don't know much beyond keeping the machines alive and well.

Tomcat, the Java Servlet Container/JSP Space from the Jakarta Project, which is in turn part of the Apache project.

*heh* See I could do the same thing on an IIS/2k box in about 5 minutes, but I wouldn't respect myself in the morning. ;)

That's not true. Right now my own website runs on IIS4/NT4 (though, hopefully not much longer. I should be moving to an apache server on FreeBSD sometime soon).

Tomcat can be used as a web server too, though it needs Apache if you're working with large server loads. And it's damn easy to install - unpack everything, adjust a couple of environment settings, maybe edit one XML file, and run the startup sequence. VoilĂ . :)

*Looks at the picture* Seems a bit flat to me, but it does look more durable rather than artsy...I'd like to see it textured
