You could probably turn the Helix into a secondary fairly easily.
Try putting it in the secondary weapon section of the weapons table :bump:

I was tweaking some of the weapons in my campaign last night and came up with a few interesting effects. The long, colored streaks are the new weapons, although they look a lot better in the game.

I drop screen10 in there simply because I thought it looked kind of cool and I had taken it along with the others. ;) Also, if you look at screen14, you might notice a strange target; I took that screenshot while I was undergoing an EMP missile effect and my hud was all messed up. :p:D

Sure, I actually just got that off NASA's website a while ago; look for "infrared solar images" or something like that and you should be able to find it there. If not, I can just link my version.

I've got a few questions about weapons.
I made 2 new weapons, but am still using icons, sounds and ani files from the Keyser and Prometheus.

How to make your own, I mean:
1) In which program to make them
2) What resolution, collors depth and file type do the icons have to be?
2) what file type and size for the ani?

1: PSP or Photoshop should work
2: 56x24, ani (can be converted using ANIbuilder), 256-color palette with 0-255-0 as the transparent color
3: not sure what you're asking here

use a rendering program to make the spinning animation thing, when you're redy to render, post for help on the specs,
if you have truespace, I'll give you more specific help

And you haven't specified - bmp, pcx, jpg,..?

B.t.w I made this two:
GT-5 Vindicator - a gatling laser (fires mesons) - fire wait 0.01, decent damage, but eats the power reserves as crazy!

GP-2 Vulcan - a gatling plazma gun - slower, but with more punch in each shot. The damage/time ratio is a bit lower campared to the GL-5.

You want them?

He specified .ani which is a filetype of it's own. You can build .ani's using one of the tools on HLP's download page. I think you need pcx files for this but don`t quote me. Correct information will be in the docs for those programs anyway :)
