Node Wars sounds interesting, but a bit too time-consuming for me... IMHO someone should make an Encyclopedia Galactica of all that goes on in the Node War forums for the rest of us forumites to read

And there is no room, unless you want to be on the other side of a massive line of collapsed nodes, which blocks you off from everybody (though you can construct a knossos)

But you can  be one of those mothership nations (like Homeworld) that travel. And some people are building knossos to cross the barrier(which is not a new thing in NW, takes only about a year in gametime to complete one)

I have the same problem as some other people here; it looks very, very interesting, but I don't have the time to go through all of that daily.

Yeah, when it started having a ton of threads instead of just an IC and an OOC, I kinda gave up. Come on, politics, treaties, shipyards, etc. etc. etc. You need something to manage all that, and a bunch of threads on a forum is not it.
