My first ship is up and running!
I posted this a while back, but I have finally gotten my unnamed destroyer into FS2.  It's turrets all work and it (finally) does not have any holes.  Thake a look:

GTD Alexander

I'll put it up for download one of these days...

BTW, how do you make LODs?

Looks pretty nice
I like that dome thingy on the front... very cool
Can you get us a render in 3dexploration (or whatever) for a closer look? :D

Then Setekh could Steakify it too...

I've posted it before, but not with fixed textures.  Here's a layout of the ship design and an old scene file:

BTW, thanks to LtNarol for the texturing; I really needed that done.

Is that a Beam on the front (or back) or an engine?

It's a beam cooldown.  I missed capturing the beam on that shot.

That thing looks pretty. Really well mapped textures (something I am still not able to do) .

Very nice. It uses the Terran design scheme perfectly with both the models and the textures; I like this one a lot.

Oh, and use VPView to extract them.  Best have an image viewer to convert them to BMP, too.
