Hi all. Dloaded and installed your FSO / 3.6.10 package today as per the site's install instructions for my retail copy of FS2. Worked great and was merrily playing away until I attempted to continue the 3rd or 4th campaign mission (from the main menu / front-end screen) and was hit with above.
Have just briefly flicked thru some of the posts looking for a solution but have only come across the one mention on 13 Aug.
Also had a look on MantisBT and saw "Fixed in Version => 3.6.11". Okay but what does this mean for the interim? Can I not play any further until 3.6.11 or is there a workaround for 3.6.10 version that I'm currently using?

Some help would be appreciated.

There's a workaround. I believe The_E has it and he should be able to post it up shortly.

Download these. Put them into mediavps\data\missions. Create that directory if it doesn't exist.
