More Virginia Tech students turn up dead

"Only" 2 this time, but I'm beginning to wonder if going to university there is hazardous to your health.

No more than most universities in New York.

Actually VT is safer than most universities in a major metropolitan area.

I can see this thread sooner or later turning into another one of those gun rights debates since those 2 people in the story were shot. I read just a little to see if they got shot, and my thoughts were correct.

This is less about guns than it is about random acts of violence.  This didn't even happen on the VT campus.  Tragic that they are dead, but as long as people are on this world or any other, there will be random violence.
