not surprising.

Mind you...this thing has been going on for ages...ever wonder why its illegal to get your dissassembler on any software?

Im sure we could find lots of interesting examples in almost all commercial code.

You guys really should read the T&C's of stuff.

I'm surprised that no one's tried to make spyware and stuff like this illegal.  It's against the law for an individual to do stuff like this.  If an iondividual makes a program like this, it's called a virus and the maker is tracked down and arrested.  But if a corporation does it, it's okay?

Actually, the existance of spyware is probably stated on some obscure licence agreement that you never read when you install the thing...

I'll reitterate: READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It says everything in there. All that crap about using unused processor power has been in the T&C's for ages.

Just download some Java tuts and make yer own KaZaA network ready p2p prog. It'd take you ages but you can add 'unorthodox' features like IP sniffers and Port scanners ;7.

I had a Spyware problem a while ago. I was up 3AM trying to delete it but everytime I restart the computer, it respawns itself. But I managed to solve the problem so it worked out....
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

Go into the options in Kazaa, see the thing that says "Do not function as a super node"?
Check that.
Problem solved.

I get that all the time, especially when getting B5 episodes. The twats disable downloading or limit it to one at a time so no-one can get their stuff.
