Funniest protest signs of 2009
More evidence demonstrating the complete stupidity of several members of the uneducated rabble protesting a number of political causes in the US lately =)

I think my favourite is the "No idea what they're talking about" one.  That's priceless.

Ah, Fox...

Remember their ad saying all the other news outlets didn't cover the teabaggers when every single one of them covered the teabaggers?

CNN responded quite well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igZZzs3MR7Y

Also saw a link on the top of that page about a couple of celebreties saying the public option is bad. Wonder how much they were paid......
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

I have this theory that, if people were required to know something about a subject before arguing over it or protesting about it, the world would be a much more rational, reasonable, and productive place.

Uneducated rabble is a fairly charitable term for some of those people.

So you're supporting these guys by comparing them to a bunch of bloodthirsty powerbrokers who beheaded a lot of people (mostly each other) and then turned things over to Napoleon?

Nice!

Actually I read something somewhere about the American healthcare system.
The gist of it was that if they don't reform it they will have to spend about 150% of their GDP on it in 50 years time, if it stays on the same trend that it has been following for some time. Now I don't know much but I think that that is not going to work :D

As opposed to the educated rabble that comes from our government when they say that Republicans turned the Americans by spreading a few lies, despite the fact that it's the same people who voted them in? Please.

As far as rabble goes, give me the un-educated kind, the educated kind has a much higher chance of just being flat out lies.

Re: Funniest protest signs of 2009
Politics has become a joke anyway, got a Labour leaflet today, and ALL it contained was 'What the Tories will do', not one word about 'What we will do'. It's pathetic, we've reached a point now where everyone is either lying or ignorant according to everyone else, which is why the whole process of growth in the Western world is stagnating.

People are going to have to come to terms with the fact that just because someone proves you wrong, it doesn't mean they are lying, and if someone doesn't like your idea, it doesn't mean they are ignorant.
