Geforce - $300, $400

RAM - Really, Really cheap now.

nooooooo way - i got twice the ram same card and two athlon 1800+'s and its costing £2000

tyan tiger motherboard
dual athlon 1800+
1024mb ECC registered ddr ram
geforce 4 ti 4600
powersupply
case
16x dvd
sound blaster live 5.1

i think thats most of it and liek i said £2000

if that p4 costs that much they are even more of a ripoff than i thought

What's funny is that Maya (rendering software) costs more than my computer's original cost... :D

(and probably Lightwave and 3d Max... Maya is $1999)

maya 4 unlimited cost alot alot alot more than any pc you need a silcon graphics workstation to start getting up to that level price - what is it £16,000 or there abouts

Two Athlon XP 2100 +cpu's ( each 1.73ghz )
1024MB DDRam at 333mzh
Big Tower ATX case ( water cooled sysem )
Adaptec 2100S SCSI Raid host adapter ( retail )
Two 60GB Maxtor HDD SCSI ( Ultrawide )

holy crap that a machine and a half the athlon 2000+ MP isn't even released yet or it wasn't when i checked fastest was the 1900+ MP perhaps i should have gotten it but i was feeling broke just thinking about it

hm jsut noticed too that you said athlon xp you need to use athlon mp's (multi processors) unless that motherboard is somethign very fancy indeed you need to use muti processors chips which aren't upto 2100+ yet

ohhhhh a note for those with more money than god the athlon quad motherboard is released this summer but the board is over a £1000 just by itself - 4 processors at about £250 so another thousand throw in a wildcat 3 so another 1500 or so ohhhh yesssssssssssss i could build a very nice computer if i had unlimited money
