Anti-vaxxers gained new voices.....
Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh

Will this stupidity ever end?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Eh anything Obama does is going to be fodder for Beck and Limbaugh.  Like Grayson said, if Obama somehow cured world hunger they'd blame him for overpopulation.

I don't really have a problem with them promoting this.

Will this stupidity ever end?

Probably when the right amount of children die from easily preventable diseases.

I wouldn't either, but there are some legitimately frightened and misinformed individuals that listen to both Beck and Limbaugh who actually take this **** to heart.  It's a danger to the public health.  Limbaugh seems intent on doing it purely on principal: if the Obama administration is making it so, then he'll oppose to the bloody end, no matter how many innocent people have to die.

Why?

The more they take up totally discredited causes, the closer they come to discrediting themselves, hopefully.

True. Let's hope so, but I just thought of another reason why this is good: It will help weed the stupidity out of the gene pool.

People who refuse legit medical care because of what some pundit says should get what they deserve. People make poor financial decisions all the time based on what quacks say and I have no pity for them really either.

It's getting bad in Muskogee where I work.  There are many students down with swine flu right now.

But children don't need to suffer because their parents are paranoid nitwits that have been lied to.

The parents are supposed to die before they reproduce, not idiotically kill the children they've already produced. The kids might not have gotten the stupid genes, and the parents can just produce more children. It's much more effective the first way.

Children will suffer because of their parents all the time. There are lots of parents that are just plain stupid who hurt their children in various ways but not really in a criminal sense.

We should at least try to remove the suffering that causes their deaths.  Particularly deaths from easily preventable diseases.  Your parenting rights end where the life of your child is at stake.

Re: Anti-vaxxers gained new voices.....
As of recently I agree with you.  I saw him lose a debate and go crazy on a women on the air.  It was kinda scary. :shaking:

But when I watched him (For a short time) on CNN and he didn't seem that insane and very funny.
