Want to render but don't have software? (No, not warez okay?)
I know that lots of you want to render/model but can't afford lightwave or 3d max. So here's a nice alternative.

clickety

This is the link to a major rendering tool - maya. There is a personal edition which is totally free  This is used for many professional rendering jobs. (Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within)

(Only problem is - too much server traffic has caused a temporary pause of downloads. only temporary though)

You did read the restrictions right? They water-mark all renders and you can only open and save .mp files.

I hope that loads of people dl the free version, decide it's really good and then go find a nice warez version of Maya. That'd be so infinitely ironic.

Blender isn't a real rendering prog, it can render but it can't do things like you can do whiut Maya, lightwave or any other progs like that...Blender is more for modeling. I have Bryce4 Treuspace4.2 and 5 and Lightwave6.5 and 7.

Hehe, a nice repertoire of software there :D

(Only things like that I have are: Photoshop 5.0 Limited :(, Adobe PhotoDeluxe BE, Truespace 1 (which keeps crashing my computer), and Blender... none of those are commercial products)

Photoshop 6 and 3DExplorer seem to work very nicely together...that's what I use.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

I got TrueSpace1 and Photoshop4.

I don't think I can do much with that combination.
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

They don't seem to sell 3d Exploration anymore :(
Now they have this Deep Exploration thing (I'm guessing it's more expensive...)

If they don't sell it anymore then...
Would giving away the registration codes be considered warez?

Yeah it would, unfortunately. They still own the license and even if they don't get profit they'll sue you for it...

(it's the Nintendo syndrome - Nintendo don't sell SNES games, Nintendo be evil and ban ROMs, Nintendo is filled with strange people)

*drool* Hehe :D

This reminds me that I should hurry up and get me a job somehow :D (despite that being highly unlikely... more likely impossible)
