OK, so here follows  the bones of the background  for the end project (please note that it is written in our native language for now (french) and will be translated before the release but as i am not a good story teller, and that my English is rather poor... this won't sound nice yet! (we'll hire native English/American for the translation )
Also we lost our internal wiki long time ago and it get back few days ago, there are things i would like to change about the timeline it self, so the date may change before the release, but the background should keep the same.)

The End Project synopsis :

We are the year 701 of the 2nd Tyrannic's era (3122 ad) , the whole humanity, united under the Tyrannic's dominion banner (Tyrannie is borned from the ashes of the humanity's civilisation) is spreading across the galaxy.
For 1110 years, Tyrannie has crushed species, alien civilisation and empire and until today no one could match the tyrannic's might.
The Tyrannic's Dominion is led by Jolnir, called the "Tyran", the Immortal leader, a singularity evolution of human being, born to lead humanity to it's fate.
He has formed the "council", formed with Jolnir's brothers, immortal as well , each one lead and oversee different aspect of Tyrannie .
400 hundred's years ago, Loki, one of the Tyran's brother (leader of the black hand, the intelligence service for Tyrannie) has been banned from the council after a failing attempt to eliminate the Tyran.
He has flee with his agents in the deep of space, and from this day, the Black hands strike any target of opportunity,  stealing fighter, bomber and capture Tyrannic's cruiser. The main black hand fleet's ship are made from old ship refitted from space junkyard.
The Black hand is not a major threat for Tyrannie, but last years, they're activity seems to increase, and while Tyrannie fight dozen's front with Xenos species at the sametime, the black hand weaken the supply line for the fleets.
To respond this problem, Jolnir ordered the Inquisition to lead and form fleet, made from old carrier, to patrol , escort convoy and to track down any black hand's target.
You just graduate from Tyrannic academy as a fighter's pilot and your first affectation is to fly within one of those fleet, you will fly old ship before being sent to the front in few years.

Is this project hosted on any other forum/board? If not, why don't you try to get a hosting on Hard-Light?

well , the project is not hosted to any other board yet but we have a moddb homepage :

And for the hardlight hosting, for sure we'd love to be hosted on the biggest freespace community boards, but before getting anything official we wanted to have something solid enough.
I've read before that , to be hosted by hardlight you had to show that your mod is going on, showing that you still work on it, and that it's not dead, and i have another reason for it,
I've worked alone on this project for 3 years (in fact it was more about writing and imagining the background story and learning how to work with modeling program and how to mod freespace.) but last year, a friend join me on the project and began the texturing thing, we seriously worked on it for one year.
As we were a small team, we preferred to work on the mod itself instead of communicating on it.

Working on a Tc, probably stand alone with universe made from scratch is a huge work and i spend about 80% of my spare time on it.

A good first step i think anyway is to open an official Ep's thread (Ep is the little name we give to our Tc) and well if you don't mind, i think we can use this one to be the official one.

The danger of joining a forum I think is that you'll spend more time talking on the forum than actually working on your mod.

You are right, but in the other hands, it's hard to keep motivation without community's feedback.
Anyway i always spent time lurking around hardlight's board at least to be informed about news feature implemented to the engine, so i think i can use it to "officialise" ep too.

As i told, this is a translation on the fly, and there are many things i did not told yet as it may spoil.
After reading my self this morning, i agree that the way i explain this sucks... that's why i should not write the dialog or the mission's briefing myself
And this just describe the situation at the begining of the first episode.
I could use the word emperor or president if it was a different political and society system but it sounded overused for me
It will be rewrite.
Tyrant and Tyranny (i did'nt knew there should have t at the end of the name) is not used as the modern meaning but closer to its original greek meaning.

τύραννος, týrannos, meaning "sovereign, master", although the latter was not pejorative and applicable to both good and bad leaders alike.
