Thank you stormkeeper, as you can see, my english is quite limited, i lack of vocabulary, and i guess i make thousands grammar mistake , your help will be apreciated :)
Anyway i thought about contacting bi-lingual student association in my city, i work for university and i have some  contact that may help about it.

By "bilingual", do you mean native speakers? Because I think native speakers of English could be of more help if it goes to things like word choice or creating natural-sounding sentences. I don't doubt you have non-native speakers of English among your connections (don't mistake the intent of the first sentence), but creating sentences that are structurally correct and creating sentences that sound natural to native ears are two different things.

I wrote a Wiki article about this topic some time ago. I hope it will help a bit.

Reprobator, if I ever get some free time from the projects I've been working with, I wouldn't mind attempting to help with wording/grammar for the project. I do have experience with French language from high school, though I've not attended any universities lately that have offered French programs; thus, I'm a bit rusty. Still, if there's a need, I can try to help.

Sorry for trying to help these guys, who bother to do a lot of translation work just to make their work available to the English-speaking community. Sorry for not telling them to **** off and keep their work for themselves just because they were, according to you unbiased and completely universally acceptable analysis, on the level of 6-year-old kids . Instead, I was foolish enough of trying to help them.

Next time I will not disappoint you, I promise.

Hi all,

First of all, let me introduce myself, i'm the second french guy behind "the end project" freespace mod.  :pimp:

I'm mainly in charge of the graphical and musical aspect of the project, and i'd like to thank you all for your comments :yes:

Actually, the problem is quite simple : the scenario has not been translated yet in english. Sure, it will be done as we want the game to be released in this langage in order to gather a lot of people around the project.

But as you all pointed out, translating is not an easy part of the process. That's why it we'll be approved by "professionnals" (i've got a good english teacher that can help us) and after that we'll be glad to accept your help and your comments on that "final" translation.

To answer to your different questions around this mod, we will provide a FAQ section on our moddb page as soon as possible.

Yes it is doable as it is working for us right now and the sequence is ingame sequence.
However, this still can be improved , but we'll need new sexp for it

In that case, it's quite a pity, as I made you discover the end of the sequel: the story was never pushed further than that, which is a great shame...

one can hope that this will be rightened one day...

In that case, it's actually GP: weapons of justice: the first one I think ended the story quite well, but the second ended as a cliffhanger, and now we are all begging for more...

Damn those unfinished sagas... :mad:

Any chance you can change the ModDB listing from being a mod for Freespace 2 to a FS2_Open indie game? If you're stand alone you shouldn't be limiting yourself to being viewed as an FS2 mod. :)

Anyway, this is something the engine has been crying out for. A stand-alone TC which isn't based on someone else's IP.
