Shanon's is actually run off a home server by our the Homeworld forum moddy over at the sierra community boards.  Shanons is primarily made up of Gabriel Knight and Homeworld: Cataclysm community members who hang out at the Sierra boards.

There is the occational 'black out' of the boards, especially when Bran is playing his Nascar online and such.  Give it a while and it should be back up.
