Most Amazing CGI Ever
And by most amazing CGI ever, I mean that the following 12:00 long short film, which you will not be able to distinguish from reality, was made in its entirety by a single person.

It is all CG. See here.

He enjoys his Kahn and his Calatrava but the camera focus tricks hurt my eyes after a while. I've decided I don't like it, for no other reason than now architecture school professors will decide that their students work should be up to this standard.

Hurt your eyes after awhile?  I lasted about 15 seconds and got a headache.
No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes. -Zathras

Indeed that's pretty damn amazing. But as Galemp and FUBAR-BDHR asid the camera focus tricks have went a bit overboard.

Same here.

That problem aside, the twenty seconds of actual video I watched looked nearly photorealistic.

Re: Most Amazing CGI Ever
It is actually pretty good demonstration of what one can do with CGI. Artists could pull off more stuff like this to show what imagination can do. Please take a look further in video where the author shows it to be computer generated instead of real by providing some impossible constructs.

The reason why it seems so realistic is probably because video seems to use photographed textures. However, wooden surfaces didn't look real in the video, also there are some problems with the contrast in simulated direct sun light. Overcast weather provides quite realistic looking images.

Modern simulation capabilities are amazing.

Can't really add anything that hasn't been said already, but I thought this was simply amazing.  Loved the bit at the end when the books exploded and flew all over the place.
