If you get the core red, I might not mind it that much, actually (as long as the Mehku stays green-blue. I like to be able to tell them apart!).

The retail game has them both red, but I suppose I can make a version where the Mekhu stays blue.

Are the Subach and Mekhu ever used in the same mission anyway? I thought they were human/vasudan specific. Aren't they technically the same weapon anyways?

Oh well. I can whip up a quick FRED scenario to test out all of this.

EDIT: Would you prefer if I made the Mekhu more purple or more pink? Or would you prefer it looking exactly like the Subach (like retail)?

Okay, I'm done.

The Subach core is now red, and the Mekhu is slightly more pink, and the glow is less prominent than that of the Subach's.

Agreed with the "BLERGH" part of Mekhu. Either purple or green-blue would be better, but I'd rather like it to keep the same red as the Subach.

Keep the mehku blue-green, it fits the fishyness of the Vasudans and the SPamtik mainhall's green stuff (The color goes better with Vasudan craft too)

The Mekhu was derived from the Subach so it makes sense they are close to the same color. We should keep it that way in the MediaVPs.

I could try to make the Mekhu more gold as opposed to more pink. (Besides, it would probably fit more, seeing as how their beams are a golden/yellowish color anywaay)

EDIT: Made it slightly oranger than the Subach. Subtle enough to not be annoying, but it may be nearly indistinguishable. Thoughts? I still need to re-tool the impact animations for them (Currently they go from pink-to-blue)

If the Mekhu is blue, then I feel like the Subach should be blue too (e.g., as in the current MediaVPs).
