Hi,
I just recently bought the gog.com version of the game and installed 3.6.10 version of the SCP.
I had previously played 3.6.9 with no problems. While playing FS2, TBP randomly my screen turns black, the sound loops and I have to reset my laptop.

I have Intel T2400, 1gb of ram, Radeon Mobility X1800 (yes, I tried both atioglxx.dll, and turning off the thingy in throubleshooting)

Read the support FAQ, please. Follow the steps necessary to create a debug log. Recreate the bug, if at all possible. Then post the log here.

That sounds suspiciously like a general crash, not something that is related to FSO directly.... Is your system stable in general?

Yup, it is stable. I play lots of games, record (mix) music and such... and I do not have any crashes at all... (except of those when playing TBP). But yes, taking from that I have to cut the power down after each FSO crash - it looks like a general crash... (but still it only takes place while playing FS)

Okay, next thing to try would be if the same issue appears on nightly builds (this is the latest). If it does, please post a log from the debug build (which is only included in the non-SSE2 package).

UPDATE:
Something hit me... I downloaded speedfan from the net, ran it... had a session with a vacuum cleaner and my fan air intake  
So far stable

UPDATE 2:
Happened again. But I think that I found the solution. Unstable power unit, which causes graphic card to switch to "power saving" mode when it disconnects.
