Well, you can copy his msn email tag and paste it in facebook, friendster, Hi5, or another social network to see what you can find on this guy. I recently checked Gen B 'Seth Dickinson' by pasting his email into facebook to find a possible profile attached to his email address and now I know what he looks like and that he is from Chicago. I did the same for Trashman and seen what he looks like, all out of curiousity. It is interesting since humans like myself have curiousity and thus it is stimulating to relieve that curiousity.

This reminds me of a book I read where AI was born of the constant battle between spambots and anti-bot software.  The bots had to get more human to fool the filters, and the filters had to get more human to tell the difference.  Vicious cycle, AI is born.

I have encountered Yahoo messenger bots in the past. The best thing to do would be not to respond because then the creator or the program itself will know for sure that your yahoo id is real and the spam might increase. As for spam emails like viagra; you can check the ip address in the headers of each email, look it up via this: http://cqcounter.com/whois/ or this: http://samspade.org/ , find the email address of the person in charge of that domain which will be listed in the results of each lookup, and then sent that person in charge of the domain the code (entire body) of the email that was sent, ip address and all, as evidence. I did that to several different spammers and the spam never happens now, so I don't have to worry about blocking domains so much.
