Delta are what Marines want to be when they grow up. :P

Marines NEVER grow up.

Seriously. Almost all the Marines I've met and worked with are like 13 year old pubescent boys on the inside. I have met one who was really cool though.

That being said, I looked at the Wikipedia page for Pararescues. Holy **** those guys are hardcore - they get the top dog pick from me.

If the other forces training was up to speed the para guys wouldn't be needed. They'd be able to rely on each other.
Campaigns I've added my distinctiveness to-
- Blue Planet: Battle Captains
-Battle of Neptune
-Between the Ashes 2
-Blue planet: Age of Aquarius
-FOTG?
-Inferno R1
-Ribos: The aftermath / -Retreat from Deneb
-Sol: A History
-TBP EACW teaser
-Earth Brakiri war
-TBP Fortune Hunters (I think?)
-TBP Relic
-Trancsend (Possibly?)
-Uncharted Territory
-Vassagos Dirge

Indeed, one does not mess with PJs/Combat Rescue Officers (aka "Crows").

Even their formal attire (not service dress, just Blues) is reported to be bad-ass from some of my former fellow cadets: wearing their black combat boots instead of Oxfords while also blousing the Blues slacks. I think they're issued barrets as well... These are USAF personnel, by the way.

...As someone who formerly was required to pay copious attention to uniforms, yes, I do find that quite cool.  :P

Anyone in the USAF who was issued the black combat boots can wear them with their blues.  I do occasionally.

And yeah, it's PJs, SSTs, CCTs, SOWT, and SecFor that get issued berets (there might be a couple career fields I missed, but those are the guys I see wearing them most often).

I wouldn't say that necessarily.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

In the case of regular soldiers i agree. But special forces that aren't special are just forces.

I think they're issued barrets as well...

So .50 cal sniper rifles are part of their dress uniform?

Yes, I used to do that with my boots as when I was a freshman at Embry. I don't think I ever did that as a sophmore, though. Of course, you don't blouse the boots when wearing Blues... :p

Accursed spelling errors!

Drilling with a .50 cal would most definitely be a serious *****.

Drilling someone else with a .50 cal would probably be fantastic, though. :p
