It's nearly the third anniversary of the HLP London brand and as we've got it pretty much self running now I leave it down to you all to organise.
 
I may well drop in on it. I know there's a BBQ due at some point also, so if appropriate put details here you hardcore regular attendees

It is looking pretty much certain that I will be in London in early August so we should definitely try to get together the first weekend of that month.

I'll only be back for a couple of weeks though.

I'm long overdue for an international vacation, maybe I will have to try and make the next HLP:L.  I do like barbecue.  Might even be able to bring some white-tailed deer meat.  Guess I need to get that passport.

As for BBQ details, we can discuss it with McCall when he shows up this time.

Lol I've had Carl since August he was broken but I just fixed him today.  Dunno if I should just keep him tell then, or mail him there now or what.  But he should definitely be in London during the bbq.

How's everyone fixed for HLP BBQ #1 in early August? Need to start setting a date as I'm expecting to have the folks over for a week or two, which would bugger up the guest accommodation.

Hmm... you know, with airline ticket prices plummeting the way they are, it'd actually be mighty tempting to fly over and meet some people for real. Would depend on being able to get some extra time off though as I've got no vacation time in early august... but who knows, might be possible

Thanks to a breakdown in communications at home, I've now learned that that weekend is right in the middle of when I'm on holiday. Can we push back to the following weekend? (13th-15th)

Sorry I've been away for a while. Work, work, work, work, wedding, in-laws, work, in-laws, work...

Currently looking like a mid-August slot is going to work best for us, as we should have cleared the house by then.

How's that sound?

I'll be in London from the start of August till around the 17th of August. So any time before then is fine.

I'm still debating going, but I've honestly never been out of the country before, so I don't know if I can prep for something like this in a month.  If someone has a guest room or could point me at a nearby decent hotel that would make my life a lot easier.  I still need to get on that whole passport thing too.
