Bye bye to Italy. Last in group, too, with 0 wins, 2 draws and a loss. Or in other words, considering that they are the world champions? Humiliation.

Yeah, that was pretty humiliating.  Especially for the man sobbing like a little girl on international telly  :lol:

Although it was kinda messed up to keep the camera following him around.

It was predictable: different team, many good players like Cassano, Totti and Balotelli at home, Buffon having problems, Pirlo joining the match when it was too late, etc. etc.

Slovakia played very well and their continuous pressure was effective. They didn't perform very well at the end, but it was too late for us to change the results. What a shame.

Lippi's choices can be hardly justified, I heard this year's was the worst Italian team to partecipate to a Wold Cup in at least three decades. Wow. :ick:

Ouch. Japan beat Denmark 3-1. Very deserved, even if I'm not at all happy about the result, so best of luck to them in the rest of the tournament. And our team sucked big time, at times to the point of being embarrassing. Ah well. At least I can watch the rest of the cup without worrying about who wins heh.

It's the GRUDGE MATCH world cup for England then. First we have to settle scores with Germany and then Argentina. If we can then beat Portugal in the Semi's or final it would be really funny. :D
