"Unable to get proper pixel format for OpenGL W32!"
Hi!
I have a subj. error with new builds. My graphics card is ATI 4870 1GB, updated graphics driver to Catalyst 10.7, both desctop and launcher are set to 32bit color. Still get the error.
What can I do next?

I had a 4870 that worked well with FSOpen. It's not a hardware incompatibility.

U mean this : http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-32bit ? . I just try reinstall ,and it complete good  :(

Hmm. Seems like you need to do a complete uninstall of your GPU drivers, followed by a reboot, followed by a reinstall of those drivers. Sorry.

ERROR:
Web cursor bitmap not found.  This is most likely due to one of three reasons:
1) You're running FreeSpace Open from somewhere other than your FreeSpace 2 folder;
2) You've somehow corrupted your FreeSpace 2 installation, e.g. by modifying or removing the retail VP files;
3) You haven't installed FreeSpace 2 at all.  (Note that installing FreeSpace Open does NOT remove the need for a FreeSpace 2 installation.)
Number 1 can be fixed by simply moving the FreeSpace Open executable file to the FreeSInt3(): From c:\temp\fs2_final_export\code\globalincs\windebug.cpp at line 1155

The file "sparky_fs2.vp" is corrupted. Reinstall FS2 again, or extract that file from the data1.cab archive on the first FS2 disc.
