Hud and Two monitors
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to select and move certain HUD Gauges to a second monitor or display other than the primary cockpit view. I am building a fully enclosed Free Space Cockpit Sim and need some of the gauges like sub-system targeting, comms menu, etc. moved to a different screen so that I can build a panel overlay and have the proper controls near them. Truly adds to the realism of the simulator. Any info or links to threads will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

At the moment, what you're asking for is not possible. Yes, we've introduced the capability to move gauges around the screen and even rendering to texture, but to completely move the gauges to a completely separate rendering context (window or screen) is not possible right now.

OOHHH!  How about iPod-style touch-screens for control panels?  Talk about your glass cockpit!  :pimp:

We would probably need to set up a feed of gauge information on a socket that can be connected to by an external app, that can render wherever it sees fit.  Second monitor, small LCD display, LED bank, joystick lights, etc.  Once the engine supported that, the possibilities would be whatever could be coded into other apps.
