I just finished FS2 (never played the original fs2 game, only fs1), and I have to say that I enjoyed myself immensely. Thank you for your extremely high quality work! As a game developer myself, I know how much effort goes into things behind the scene, and I would say that all your hard work has paid off in spades. If nothing else, pride.

I've just started on the blue planet, which seems like a fairly natural succession in the story. I'm enjoying it possibly more than the original campaign, mainly because it's so different, and not absolutely every mission is fighting. I really dig and geek out on the whole scifi aspect of it (alternate universe, bla bla bla). So far the story seems to be extremely well written, and I quite like all the voice acting.

I'd say the only thing I don't like about BP so far is that Samuel Bei's voice is so calm all the time that it makes him sound like "Meh, whatever". Other than that everything is great. Speaking of, I realize that this isn't their forums, however, for you modding teams out there... If anyone here has ever played tachyon: the fringe (main character's voice was Bruce Campbell), then you know that bruce campbell basically made that game as good as it was. Worth look at for examples on main characters reactions and tone of speaking, mannerisms, etc. Regardless, I can forgive Samuel for being a bored killjoy, because I'm loving everyone else so far :-)

Great work everyone, and massive thanks to you for providing me with the most epic bestest best space sim I've played in a very long time (possibly the best experience ever really).

It's sad, but I know that when WC:Saga comes out I'm going to nerdgasm so hard... I grew up with those games :-)

Thank you!  I'm also very proud of what this project has evolved into even since I became involved, and it wouldn't have been around if not for the years of hard work that preceded that.

You might be interested to know that there are plans to port Tachyon to the FS2_Open engine then. :D
