Sorry for the bump, but I wanted to put this in now that I have hand plenty of time to think about it.

some mention a while back of a Deputy position. And while I realize that I'd be starting out pretty low on the skill set chain, for day-to-day stuff and training time to learn the more System Administration level duties, I think as a super-set Global Moderator style Administrator (to start), I might have plenty to contribute if there are willing endorsements.

I kept myself from accepting nomination because I don't feel I have the technical application skill set, but I can't realistically grow it where there is no avenue to use it.

I, too, agree that Zacam would make a fine candidate for admin. He's intelligent, level-headed, and certainly is he reasonable.

I should basically point out that it's basically an admin's decision here and we already know Zacam well enough to not need help deciding.

And I'm wondering why someone who knows how this place works thought that this was the place to ask that question himself rather than getting the proper person to post it in the proper place.

I'm further wondering why said person thinks it is the admin's job to monitor the attendance of their mod's staff and take actions without their say-so based on that perception.

I'm pretty sure it's not based on a popularity contest though. I'm just saying that I'm willing and desire to increase my skill set in an environment that will put it to use.
