I had pretty much the exact same feeling watching the last few episodes of Evangelion... go figure.

I expect that they are capable of producing really awesome stuff, as both FLCL and Gurren-Lagann can attest to.  But I'm honestly not even sure why anyone was watching this series to begin with, as I heard from multiple sources that it was fairly ****ty, both literally and figuratively.

How come I find this completely ridicilous and fail to understand why people like this at all and wish they'd just watch stuff like Battlestar Galactica or go Mechwarrior?

I watched a couple of episodes, then decided it wasn't worth my time, but then I heard of that epic troll and watched the final episode. Judging from that, I don't think I lost much by skipping the episodes in between, but I have to say the troll at the end was hilarious especially in the context of who made this animu.

If someone wonders why people watch this, it's mainly the hilarious factor that draws attention -that and/or the fap factor (and I must say that the sourdtrac of the series is not entirely that bad either).

Hopefully they don't start equipping these on war machines...I mean Japan is the leader in making robots.

Oh, then again, it could be this kind of thing that prevents wars because the soldiers will be too busy laughing their asses off
