i have 26 days, 11 hours, 36 minutes, 36 seconds worth of music in 7762 songs on 855 albums by 221 different bands, which take up 53.59 gigs. plus i got another 4 gigs of unsorted audio i haven't added to my database yet.

I only have slightly over 1GB of music which I acquired to find suitable music for WiH. Since WiH's been out for long time now and I haven't used them since, I might just as well delete the dir. Which leaves me with 0MB of music.

When I want to listen to music, I listen to net radios.

I didn't download it if that's what you mean.  Ripped all my CD's and there is always the [cough] xcopy /s *.mp3[/cough] method.

I'll have to look up the precise number at some point, but I've got over a gig.

Most of my music is actually not purchased via download, as I prefer to have the physical album. Of which, a fair fraction of that includes Soundgarden and Radiohead. I'm thinking I'll need to get the Melvins' "Stag" album once the time comes around to get another album.

On this comp, i have 10673 Songs (69.3GB), another 3782 ( 22.2GB) on my external HD. Not included are Audiobooks, which add another 12GB.
I sold my CDs or gave them to friends, as don't have the room for them. I keep only the "important" ( mostly rare or special editions ) ones, and those who have been given to me as a gift.

I have quite a bit ripped from a college radio station--they often spun unknown LP's. Most of it was purchased.

4.25+3.87+unknown number due to it not having been transferred yet+unknown number due to it being in .mp4/.flv files because it cannot be obtained in any other fashion+unknown number that is not stored in the large collections+unknown number of video files that often substitute for music by being run in the background.

In other words, I don't know and I doubt it can be found out.

Most was accumulated over long periods of time from CD's bought by myself or friends.
Some was downloaded legally. 
And I admit some was downloaded illegally due to being old/obscure and difficult to acquire through legit means.
