Is it just me, or has the site been randomly slowing down.
I can load other pages fine but HLP seems to a lot longer to load than it actually should sometimes...

It isn't just HLP for me. Several sites are giving me major problems, including Wikipedia, while no local sites are slow. So I'm guessing some backbone router died somewhere, and what we're seeing is congestion.

For me it's only HLP/GW and it's only during the day.  Speed is fine at night.  This is 4 days in a row it is taking about 45 seconds per page load.  It loads so slow it you can see it draw the tiny icons that indicate new posts.  

I tried some tracerts and there is no slow down getting to the server it seems to be an issue with the server itself or the database being slow.

Yeah, it would seem I was wrong about it being congestion. The other sites which were giving me trouble have all cleared up by now, but HLP - while faster now than it was - is still noticably slower than the norm.

Yup, other sites seem to be ok again. It's only HLP which is so slow.

My Internet has slowed down considerably recently, but HLP is possibly the slowest of all.

I'm getting it as well, here and on GW. Since they're on the same server, I guess the issue is somewhere in there.

Could this somehow relate to the bunch of projects we hosted recently? If they all received FTP and SVN access, then no wonder HLP is overburdened.

Stellar Assault has its own SVN, for one, and actually I don't think HLP hosts any SVN at all, just FTP. I'm...not sure the relatively limited amount of bandwidth these projects use is really enough to slow things down.

I didn't notice it at first, but lately it has gotten noticablely slower here, even when every other site works fine.

Not all the projects which were recently hosted received FTP access, and those that have haven't set up their sites yet.

I think this problem is starting to get worse.  I was barely able to get the site to load earlier today.
