Did my part several days early.
Voted to keep my current national politicians in office because they are awesome. One of them's gay and before going political ran a business that repaired computers and gave them to school kids in 3rd world countries, and the other is pretty much the straightest talking man in DC at this moment, who also is the architect of reconciliation. Both are democrat.
Local elections... pretty much voted on party lines because a.) no one to oppose, and b.) everyone who thought they could was bat**** crazy. Votes for judges... figured that since these peeps had the decency to have a session of the Supreme Court of Colorado in my high school auditorium, they must be pretty cool. Plus, no scandals, so hey. Only really confusing thing was the race for coroner. Both candidates were unaffiliated. One young, one old. Went with young person to spice things up a bit.
So... all in all, first ever vote went pretty well.
