Bro....I knew this day was coming from when you first told me about the situation. Just as I said then, you and your family will remain in my prayers. You brought me into HLP from the start. You've always been a great friend. From you I've made many other great friendships here, I've learned more than I ever could have hoped to learn about CG art.

Simply saying you'll be missed would be an understatement. But you've got to be with your family, your family here at HLP will still be here for you when you return, and anytime if you should be in need of ears to listen.

We'll see you in the future once you return my friend.

I hope that even though we will all depart to college and real life, we have to keep in touch and keep the legacy of HLP alive for many years to come

God, spend all the time with her that you can, a fire and several bouts of carbon monoxide poisoning took my mother from me.

We had no warning, doctors have generally been clueless as to why she was sick, then the morning of jan 15th, 2000 she was in her bed...

You're going to hate yourself forever if you miss a minute with her.  

Do yourself a big favor, don't ever feel that she may be bugging you, or trying to hurt anyone.  God knows I am not happy with my last words to her while she was with us.

Eddie, I'm sorry to hear this.  I lost my grandfather to cancer when I was 12.  He died just 4 after my birthday.  I was too young to fully understand what happened, but it hit my mother the hardest.

When he was first diagnosed with it, he just gave up.  He literally just shut down.  It wasn't just a couple of months later that he died.  I don't want to sound overbearing, but don't you EVER let your mother give up. AT ALL COSTS.  You do whatever it takes to keep her spirits up.  Keep her laughing.

"laughter is the best medicine" is appropriate here i think, though with her lung condition im not sure about laughing per se...still, find ways to keep her spirits up.
