Y'know, not much will make me cry (barring excruciating pain), but even now I'm finding myself a bit misty-eyed.  You've been no doubt an invaluable member of this community.  Though I never knew you personally, you always seemed like a good, laid-back guy who didn't let much bother him and always sought out a good laugh.  I don't think I once read a post of yours that showed anger of any kind.  You've done a lot for the community, co-founding HLP, and making yourself the local Render Man.  You will be missed...

I'm sorry Steak, hope ya'll recover. I just was prophesizing from the weather that the day would be sad or terrible, it ends up it is. I hope you'll return to us soon and your family will be all fine and dandy, my sincere condolescences.
 Anyway, steak you're a big pillar here, you support the modders, give us inspiration (with art and words), and humor us (TANG anyone?). I just hope the other pillars are quite strong and the architect was good...
