Dunno if this belongs here or rather to Freespace Upgrade, but could you make the new radar icons as a toggle in launcher -> features -> hud? The old blobs had few + to them, first the line shown the facing of the target, and the icons are huge and even on small number of ships the radar gets really messy for me.

If there is a way to turn them off then i missed it

There should be a file named "mv_radaricons.vp" in your mediavps folder. Delete that.

Thanks, now it's how it's supposed to be Kinda unhappy solution though, i still think it deserves a toggle for the sake of looking-good-ness If additional two scanning bars can have one...

The solution is to remove the toggle from the scanning bars one. Not the other way round.

Scanning bars are a code issue, radar icons are a data issue. You can go ahead and delete the data, but removing code? not so much.
