This is my newest stealth figher, I just need to texture the front and insides of the verticle wings. Please dont complain about it being dark, coz its a stealth fighter (much better than that bright blue triangle, that sticks out like a sore thumb).

Personally, I don't like it that much. The textures are too busy for my liking, and the shape really doesn't fit the Terran muold (I'm assuming it is terran). But that's just my opinion.

I think it looks a bit like the mothership from Homeworld. (From the front, anyway) Some nice work there.

Bizarro. But quite nice. It'd be interesting to see if you can shoot *through* the holes in the back when it's shield is gone, and not cause hull damage.

HeHe, the shields will wrap around the hull, you should be able to shoot through the hole with out hitting the shields or damaging the hull.

I havent started the shields yet, I am finding texturing it dificult enuf. I cant figure out how to use these uv unraper tools, so i am using Truespace 5's facilitys.

Now you`ve got me wondering.

Suppose you have a ship with a hole in it and you knock down the forward shield. If you shoot through the hole do the rear shields start to go down too or does the shot pass straight through them?

Is the left view a shot of the ship from the side facing the (our) right?  And the right view a front-view of it?  And the cockpit that somewhat-darker-than-the-rest-of-the-ship thing about halfway down and at the right-hand side of the left view?

Probably not, as shields are designed to stop incoming energy and particles not outgoing.  The enemy shields would probably see your fire as outgoing.

No it doesn't! The Taiidans are the red and yellow ones, aren't they? Their mother ship looks like a brick, this here stealth ship looks like the Kushan mother ship, 'cos it's all upright.
