Locking threads, deleting threads, these are typical forum events, and however annoying an individual case may be, they are usually the end of a particular event. In every other forum I have been in at least.

However, locking a thread so that regular members cannot post, and having the moderators (1/3 of the pop I have seen) be able to continue bashing, mocking, ridiculing, and criticizing people who can no longer defend themselves is easily the most cowardly thing I have seen on the internet (and I have been in some dark recesses of the internet)

Doing what you like is the perk of owning your own place, leaving a stinking port-a-potty is a perk of NOT owning said place.

If you have a problem with moderators, that's what PMs are for. If you have a general problem with this forum, that's what Site Support is for.

If you want to continue to take every single action that moderators take in your presence and regarding your threads to be a personal affront, **** off.

Seriously. We are NOT on a crusade to piss you, personally off. But understand that you come in here with lots of apparently unfitting expectations regarding this forum. Yes, this is a heavily moderated board. Yes, you did not make a good first impression. No, bashing moderators and second guessing moderator actions is not a good idea.

Okay. I haven't posted on this subject before but I guess I'm going to have to get involved.

You really need to reread those threads then.

On the Drama (split from Bug in thread there were only three posts immediately following the lock. All three of them were explanations of how moderation occurs on this forum.

On the Thread-locking policies (split from FS1 Player Stat Reset) there is only one post, from Nuke. Which again addresses the same issues in a humorous fashion.


So The E is quite correct that you appear to be taking moderators actions personally because I can't see any insults in any of the moderator posts following the thread lockage.

Furthermore I'm moving this thread to site support because it does not belong in General Discussion.
