What would you like to see in FS FanFic?

Topic speaks for itself.

I'm planning on writing a FreeSpace 2 fanfic. Anyone have any good ideas?
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

More than just shooting in space. Oh, and try to make battles interesting. Don't say "Both sides fought bravely but Alpha 1 killed all the bad guys." There has to be a clever way of winning crucial battles.

Lots of political issues, conferences among military and political leaders and precise battle strategies; I love anything that has lots of those things. ;)

55.6% of Internet fan fiction can't be wrong: erotic fiction sells!

(I think 55.6% is a relatively low estimate)

K...

Here's my idea so far....

A routine scouting mission in the Regulus system goes wrong when a frightening discovery is made. One pilot survives, but his psyche (spelled right?) doesn't. A second wave, including the Orion-class destroyer Saratoga and its escort fleet, scouts the area.

The ghosts of the GTVA are returning...... and there is no stopping them.......
