this is the second time in the last 2 days that ive seen someone report a post that did not violate any forum rules. the purpose of the report to moderator feature is not meant to express your disagreement with someones post. its there to report spammers, bots, and (in extreme cases) flaming trolls. STOP ****ING AROUND!!!

I've never used the report function, i also never reported anyone. Yet.
Maybe someone don't like the spelling of a poster or somesuch.

Wait doesn't the notify button just notify you when someone replies to a thread?   The Report to moderator button is the one that sends a message to mods and admins.

Basically we had a real problem with bots. The solution to that problem was an emergency upgrade rather than a planned and carefully executed server crash outage upgrade. That doesn't mean that people should take advantage of the problem in order to do stupid **** that they know isn't allowed on HLP. People know damn well that HLP doesn't have image sigs. If people are stupid enough to try to take advantage of the situation and force me to manually remove their image sigs they can suffer the consequences.

Don't forget the 6px font size limit. That needs to be re-imposed as well.

I don't think careful execution of the upgrade would have been much better. There would still be some rough edges. The only difference I can see is that most of the rough edges would be sorted out before the upgrade.

Yep, must've been lonely during Christmas...alone, in that dark room with nothing but the chocolates, computer, and pop.  Our mods should be more considerate of our lonely members...show some luvvv groove
