I would like to know if anyone has ported the fs2 demo missions into the scp engine , if not I would like to try to do that and with that practice my fredding

IIRC FS2 demo is just the first act of the full game campaign...

Negative, the first one is a crazy nebula mission that could be won in the Demo by spamming Rockeyes, the second was an escort mission.

FS2Demo folder with a mod.ini that has the mediavps listed should do it. 

Just checked and it's already there but points to the 3.6.10 mediavps.

Okay, I cannot find it. Honestly, if you have the demo, it should be a fairly easy mod to make, especially since the advent of modular tables. If you spent a few hours converting it, you'd have it done. You could even post it to mods.\

There are considerable differences in the weapons IIRC

The installer used to install them.  Can't see why those couldn't be distributed as they were free to begin with.

Man, I wore those two demo missions out before I was finally able to buy a copy of FS2.  I remember being completely blown away by the graphics.

W8, i have a Cd with wreespace that definitely ain't full, but you say it ain't demo either? Now that i look at it it says Freespace 2 OEM... It's all missions up to the 1st SOC loop. I dunno what it is nor where i got it but that's what i have.

Well, FreeSpace 2: Colossus is a "demo" of FS2.

The standalone demo missions you guys are talking about are Crisis in Capella and Crimson Skies. Good times.

Ah, those were good missions. They showcased a good sample of what FS2 was capable of. Before I got the full version, I played that for quite a while.
