Can anyone tell me if the 3.6.12 mediavps work with FSPORT-STR? Can you point the ini files to them?

I believe the FSPort MediaVPs are now at 3.6.12, so if you have both the regular and fsport mediavps in their 3.6.12 versions, STR should use them. You may need to edit a mod.ini...

secondarylist = fsport,mediavps;
I was just going to try
secondarylist = fsport,mediavps_3612;
to see what happened until you said that.

STR has not been updated to be 3.6.12 compatible, you need to use 3.6.10 mediavps when playing STR. So don't edit STR's mod.ini and make sure you have the old mediavps installed. You can use fs2_open 3.6.12 however.

Thanks but fortune favours the brave...lol. I did edit the mod as follows...

Whatver it did do, it didn't break it and it has the 4 missions in the list. Looks good too!!!
Maybe sometime I will change it back and see what the diff is if any.

FYI so as not to send anyone off on a bad path, I take it all back, the drones were not showing so had to change back to the stock standard
