What is the Cavalier for?
Really? It's seems to be worse than the Rapier in about every way. (if you consider that the Lao Tze only carries one cavalier compared to four rapiers) I would always prefer the Rapier over the Cavalier, exept when i need to keep the second weapon bank for specialist weaponry.

There are a few other strange things regarding balance, but i guess that's all stuff that will be finalized for R2? But since the Lao Tze was actually used in R1 i thought i'd mention it.

PS: The Lao Tze has Hellfires in the default loadout, despite the fact that it isn't compatible.

Re: What is the Cavalier for?
The Cavalier is for it wasn't used in any meaningful way in R1 so the stats weren't final and it's already been changed for R2.

Hellfires are not allowed for Lao Tze?
That's strange and seems to be a bug, if it's not already fixed, then it'll be.

The Cavalier is the Lao Tze-exclusive primary weapon. It is supposed to be incredibly powerful, perhaps more so than the Rapier.

I think OP knows that, thing is in R1 it's not powerful enough for its role. Been fixed.

Already been tested, thanks.

There was no reason to use the Cavalier ever because it did not out-DPS the four-Rapier bank. That has changed.

Re: What is the Cavalier for?
Wait, so now the single Cavalier mounted on the LZ's "turbine" does more damage than the combined firepower of the Kent's quad Rapier bank?

*sigh*

Andro, what would the point of using the Cavalier be if it could not do more damage than the quad Rapier bank that the Lao Tze also has?

Which is why the Scimitar bomb swarm increased in size slightly right?

Re: What is the Cavalier for?
That Cavalier buff was a different one, it got buffed again.  :nervous: Nothing's been released up with the improved version as it'll likely go through some more iteration. whooo knoooows
