One step at a time.  First the cloned version with rocket launchers then the cyborg version with a  laser shooting trunk.
No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes. -Zathras

Somehow, responding to all of this with "Snuffleupagus" is unusually appropriate...

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I dunno. Playing God, if necessary precautions are taken, is pretty cool. This is even almost as amazing as creating life.

Evolution is blind and has no predictive ability, and may do away with species that have useful traits now which did not then. In other words, woolly mammoths may well be the cheaper and less polluting alternative to cows by tonnage of usable animal product.

And we really do need one.

If not, the corporations would probably find a way to make it taste like beef and find some way to imply it's beef without crossing any laws. People fear change.

More interesting as a "because we can" application of reproductive cloning than any real practical significance.  Cloned animals in general do not fare all that well (epigenetics says no!).
