Basically, my problem is that 99% of the time, FS2 / FRED2 crashes when I glue

on 2+ turrets to the hull object. I have got a working (single) turret before, so I'm sure it's not anything to do with gluing. The crash occurs with the sub-objects defined as and not defined as turrets. The poly count is under 800 for the whole thing, although I'm getting wierd duplicated sub-objects as a result of the gluing process (i.e. 7-8 blank sub-objects at the top of the heirarchy, before the hull sub-object).
If anyone can give me a reason for this, or is willing to supply a turreted cob for me to compare it to,
please post back. alternatively, I can make the scn files available for someone to help me. Cheers for any help offered
