Hey everyone, finished the texturing on the station I've been working on (off and on, mostly off though.)

So here it is, for a good number.  Oh, this is definitely NOT game-useable, unless the engine can suddenly handle a 15,000 polly pof.  (13,000 for the station, the other 2k is for the turrets.)

About 4km in diameter with about 300,000 inhabitants, defended by 40 fighter and 30 bomber wings, 60 turrets (Didn't feel like adding any more at the moment, and it still needs missle launchers.)

Though I do admit I'm going to change a few more textures around on it.  (Like the spire.)

Make a page with the pix. We (or is it just me) can't see them!
I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.

Nice! I like it, it looks cool....and lots of defence that's for sure.

And good idea warning people not to go anywhere else on your site. I remember the last time.......;)
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Yeah, I know about the lights on the main ring already.
It just hit me about how huge the habitat ring is, and how big the 'windows' would be.

The only reason they would be that huge is if each window was shared by multiple decks.

I'm going to change the lighting values to be the same as the ones I used on the Deimos corvette in the 'extra.jpg' image.  Much brighter and more realistic.

(I actually created that corvette with 34 extra 'windows' modled directly onto the ship, each with it's own tiny-tiny light source that falls off after like .01.  Looks good in the prelim renders I've done that involve a lot of dark shadows and such.)

My only problem is I still can't get engine glows to work right.
