Hello to all!

it so happens I have yet another question regarding a possible star crusader TC under freespace, particularly regarding the amien "starwolf" fighter:

That fighter has the ability to use an unconventionnal secondary weapon in the form of a huge visible shield, not only making it invulnerable to enemy fire while it lasts but also capable of ramming enemy forces and inflicting considerable damage (although the effects are greatly reduced against capital ships)...

Does that seem possible to you under the SCP engine?

Could SEXP it so it switches to an identical ship class but with a much higher mass when you fired the weapon...

I am completely ignorant about what you are talking about and i am struggling with researching it so i am going to ask what form does this shield take, is it something which is physical or energy based? and dose it surround the ship completely or only partially

View it as a huge energy sphere (2 or 3 times the fighter's radius) which would surround the fighter...

For further information, play Independence War 2 and equip your ship with the Aggressor Shield.

With a surrounding, untargetable subsystem set to not transfer damage and no HP textured with the shield effect is looking like your best bet
