Re: "Day of Rage" Coming to the US
It's funny because I was reading some of the comments about the British on Fox News regarding the demonstrations in London, and whilst smirking at the apparent lack of knowledge of the situation in the UK, or the assumptions that everyone who was demonstrating was 'living off the state' we are apparently 'a bunch of spoiled, backward liberals who throw tantrums when they don't get their own way'....

Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.

What is this? This sounds dumb. Raging usually doesn't accomplish much; we need to approach our problems rationally and with cool heads.

The demonstrations and uprisings in the region have been called the Arab Uprising,[15][16][17][18][19][20] however, some of the countries affected are not part of the Arab world. The protests began on 18 December 2010 in Tunisia, following Mohamed Bouazizi's self-immolation in protest at police corruption and ill-treatment.[21][22] Due to similar hardships in the region and ultimately successful protests in Tunisia, a chain of unrest was started which was followed by protests in Algeria, Jordan, Egypt, and Yemen,[23] and to a lesser degree in other, mostly Arab, states. In many cases the climactic days have been termed[24] "day of rage" or some variation thereof.

Just thought I'd point that out.

This will not happen, we Americans are fat and happy. The Days of Rage in the Middle East/Africa are thanks to living conditions well below our own.

ahahahahahaha

I'm perfectly content with our political system.  The people in it, however, I am not.

Americans have the power to change this, though, because of the system.  It all depends on how stupid we are.  If our government ****s up in some way, it's our own fault for putting them there.

Day of Rage lololol

Thanks for stating what I didn't. The protests in China and Russia that were cracked down on were also following calls for a "Day of Rage".

As I posted on Twitter;

#USDOR I prefer discussion rather than rage... but I also powerfully disagree with how aviation is treated in the United States.

#USDOR I prefer discussion rather than rage... I disagree strongly with the US educational system, especially universities.

Wonder if this is going to turn into the nonstarter the Saudi day of rage turned out to be.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
